Hanger Revolution

I prefer when closets use matching hangers. The truth is that between dry cleaning hangers, randos, various vintages of fad hangers, most folks don’t have a whole closet of matching hangers.

The simplest way to go is to start fresh , but whether they are flocked, wood, or a fad option, replacing your whole closet (or household!) with a matching set could break the bank. So if you’re starting from scratch, what should you pick? I recommend that lowly, generic white hanger. I use these. Here’s why:

  1. Cost-effective, less than twenty cents each.

  2. Durable, yes they break from time to time but I find they are more durable than flocked and wood hangers that break where the metal hook joins the body of the hanger.

  3. Space-efficient, no, they aren’t as thin as the slim or flocked hangers out there, but when comparing it to these options, it’s the clothes in your closet that take up the space, not the hangers.

  4. Widely accessible, you will always be able to get something that matches or is nearly the same, meaning you can continue matching in perpetuity.

Save the glamour for your garments and pick something can keep up with you everyday.
